How to collaborate with CJPME

Community Relations | Our Collaborative Initiatives

The following are some of the ways in which CJPME works with other organizations. Click on each to find out more on what we offer:
  • Information Sessions: CJPME has a number of trained experts on a variety of topics. CJPME also has professional presentation material and up-to-date handouts. CJPME is ready, on invitation, to present its material to other organizations in the interests of informing a broader segment of the Canadian populace.

  • Advocacy Training: CJPME has developed advocacy packages on a number of issues central to its mandate, which it has presented on numerous occasions in Montreal, Ottawa and Toronto. CJPME has also developed related half-day advocacy training sessions to equip its teams. CJPME is ready, on invitation, to encourage such advocacy, and provide this training at cost to other organizations.

  • Media Training: In the course of developing its media strategies, CJPME has developed a media manual and half-day training class. CJPME is ready, on invitation, to promote media advocacy, and provide this training at cost to other organizations.

  • Research and Documentation Re-use: CJPME has developed a broad swath of materials which it wants to see leveraged (e.g. Powerpoint presentations, research and analysis documentation, factsheets, etc.) Under very reasonable conditions of use, CJPME can make this material available to other organizations for their own advocacy purposes.

  • Letter Campaigns: CJPME is extremely interested in grassroots advocacy. CJPME has a team dedicated to supporting letter campaigns, and seeks other organizations and individuals interested in participating in massive cross-Canada letter-writing campaigns.

  • "Riding Group” Advocacy: CJPME is trying to establish “Riding Groups” in Federal ridings across Canada to develop on-going relationships and influence with Federal MPs. CJPME has advocacy networks in the Montreal, Ottawa and Toronto metro regions, and is interested in building networks in additional cities. CJPME is able to provide guidance on how to organize and manage such groups, and can provide materials and expertise in support of such groups.

  • Advice for Humanitarian Aid Projects: CJPME and its sister organization – Sowers of Hope – have accrued valuable experience fundraising for two successful humanitarian aid projects. The team is ready to provide some pointers and guidance to other organizations seeking to tangibly help the dispossessed of the Middle East.

  • Media Monitoring: CJPME is setting up an Internet-based media monitoring capability which, under certain conditions, it is willing to open to individuals and organizations similarly seeking to do media monitoring.
